Moderators and members have several options for managing chat posts within their communities.
Community Post Options
Though all users can long-press a post to access a variety of options, moderators and community owners have a few extra options that help them manage and moderate posts within their community.
Long-pressing a chat post will bring up the following options:
- Copy
- Hide Post
- Report Community
In addition, the moderators and the post creator have access to the following options:
- Delete Post
Reporting a Post/Community
Anyone can report a post or community if they believe it qualifies as objectionable content. Though this does not remove the post from the feed, it will send a report to Auxxit staff for review.
Deleting a Post
Deleting a post is an option available to the creator of the post. Deleting the post will remove it from the chat feed for everyone in the community. This differs from hiding a post, which only removes it for that user.
Restricting Chat Posts
In the Community Settings > Advanced screen, moderators also have a global option for restricting community chat to just moderators.
Simply toggle on the "Restrict Community Posts" option, and tap the blue "Save" button at the top-right.
