In order to keep you informed about what's happening on Auxxit and in your communities, Auxxit sends notifications to your device. You can customize which notifications you receive on the global level and per-community.
Global Notifications
Global notifications refer to those that happen outside of communities - things like private chats, updates on fulfillment, etc. You can access your global notification settings from the main drawer, Settings > Notifications.
You'll see a list of the following settings:
Toggling "Enable Notifications" will turn on/off notifications for the entire app. You will no longer receive notifications until you re-enable it.
The remaining settings allow you to customize which notifications are enabled on a more granular level, such as turning off notifications just for private chats.
Remember to press the blue "Save" button to save your changes.
Community Notifications
The majority of the notifications you will receive happen within a community, as a result of running events, bidding on items, being mentioned in chat, etc. Each community has its own notification settings that you can configure to customize your experience.
To access community notification settings, open the community settings modal and tap the "Notifications" button, or go to the Community Settings screen and tap on Notifications.
Muting a Community
If you need to mute a community for a limited time, you can use this setting to do so for a period of 15min, 30min, 1 hour, or 3 hours. You will no longer receiving notifications related to that community unless someone mentions you. You can unmute that community's notifications by tapping it again.
Chat Notifications
You can adjust the "level" of chat notifications you want to receive.
Level 1: The first, and default, level will send you a notification every time a new conversation starts, in addition to any time you are mentioned.
Level 2: You will only receive notifications when you are mentioned.
Level 3: You will never receive chat notifications within the community.
To give you some more control over the dreaded "@all" notification, there is a separate setting for toggling it on and off. In practice, this means you can have mentions enabled but still mute "@all" notifications if you find them too frequent or unhelpful.
Other Toggles
The remaining settings in the Community Notifications screen allow you to adjust whether or not you receive specific notifications, such as when a user in the community posts a new shop listing.
As always, remember to tap the blue "Save" button after you make your changes.
