How Do I Direct Message With Other Community Members?

If you're looking to engage in a private, one-on-one conversation with another community member on Auxxit, there are several ways to go about it. Private chats, or direct messages, offer you a space to have detailed discussions without the noise of a crowded community chat.

Starting a Direct Chat

One of the quickest ways to start a private chat is through the community chat feed. Simply click on the avatar of the user you want to chat with. This will bring up a modal window with information about that user. One of the options in this window is "Send Private Chat". Click on it to begin your private conversation.

Another way to initiate a private chat is through the community's member list. Click on the avatar of the user you wish to chat with. This will lead you to a similar modal window as before, where you can choose "Send Private Chat" to start a conversation.

Managing Your Private Chats

If you want to view all your ongoing private chats, click on the hamburger menu button in the app's header. Within the menu, find "Private Chats". Clicking on this option will take you to a list of all your existing private chats. From here, you can easily access and manage your conversations.
