Community owners and moderators have a variety of settings at their disposal when fine-tuning certain aspects of their community. These settings can be accessed at any time from the community settings modal.
Accessing your Settings
To keep settings accessible, your community has the community settings modal, which is accessed by tapping the three dots at the top-right of your main community chat. Doing so will open this handy-dandy modal.
The community settings modal acts as both a quick-access menu for your most important settings, as well as a link to the Community Settings screen. As a moderator, you can do a few helpful things right from the settings modal:
- Edit your community details, like its description and image
- Pin a new note that all members can see
- Switch on and off members invites for non-moderators
- View and quickly manage your members
Most importantly, you can access the main community settings menu by tapping the Settings icon near the top-right of the modal. This will open the Community Settings screen.
Your Community Settings
Your community has three primary categories for settings.
Community Overview
The Community Overview allows you to edit the public-facing features of your group, such as its image and description. To edit either, simply make your desired changes and tap the "Save" button at the top-right.
Notifications
Notification Settings are available to both moderators and members, and only affect notifications for that particular user.
Advanced
The remainder of community settings are in the Advanced category, and give moderators a variety of settings over their community, including:
- Restrict item listing to moderators
- Restrict posting to moderators
- Set a minimum and/or maximum auction bid
- Set the auction overtime extension
To commit your changes, don't forget to tap the "Save" button at the top-right.
