How Do I Participate in a Live Market?

Live Markets are an exciting feature of Auxxit that allows you to make offers or purchase items outright from sellers within your community. This guide will walk you through the process of participating in a Live Market event.

Previewing the Live Market

Before a Live Market event begins, a countdown at the top of your screen signals the approaching event. Next to the countdown, you'll find a button that allows you to preview the upcoming items.

Click on this button to open a right-side drawer with a list of all the items that will be available in the Live Market. This gives you the option to plan ahead and strategize your offers.

Engaging with the Live Market

When the Live Market begins, the items become visible in two places: a scrolling carousel at the top of the screen, and in the previously mentioned right-side drawer.

To interact with an item, click on it. You will see a preview containing detailed information about the item, along with tools to either make an offer or purchase it outright. 

Making Offers and Purchasing Items

Each item in the Live Market comes with an 'ask price' - a price at which the seller agrees to accept offers. You can choose to meet this ask price for a quick purchase, or make a lower offer.

Sellers have the ability to accept or decline your offer. To streamline this process, sellers can also set invisible 'accept' and 'decline' prices that will automatically handle offers, accepting or rejecting them based on these set thresholds.

After Making a Purchase or Offer

If your offer is accepted or you agree to purchase outright at the asking price, you are obligated to go through with the purchase. You can complete the purchase by navigating to the item management section of the app to begin the checkout process.
